A new and exciting development, Elite Electronic Environments has joined forces with Capitol Lighting. Elite has taken over operation of Capitol Home Technology Division.
“In the past 10 years Capitol Home Technology has been involved with many cutting edge installations and innovative designs, a business model that mirrors our own,” said John Jackson, president of Elite Electronic Environment. “The demographics of our clients are very similar and we are extremely excited about this new joint venture. Capitol Lighting is an amazing company that has been in the lighting business for more than eighty years. This is a perfect fit for both companies.”
Elite will utilize their personnel in Capitol’s Florida locations, Boca Raton, Palm Beach Gardens and Royal Palm Beach and maintain a display at Capitol’s prototype store in Stuart. Additionally, Elite will have the opportunity to cross promote to Capitol’s client database and have a section on their recently re-launched Website www.1-800lighting.com
According to Capitol Chief Operating Officer, Ken Lebersfeld, the Company established the Home Technology Division ten years ago.
“While we’ve enjoyed great success with the division our primary focus now is on expanding our lighting business both at the retail and online levels,” Lebersfeld said. “However we did not want to abandon the division and looked to a partner that shared the same business philosophies, experience and expertise. Elite was the ideal candidate.”
Elite, which was established in 2008, offers flat panel television, whole house multi-room audio, state of the art home theaters, as well as surveillance and security systems. Elite offers products from some of the leading manufacturers in its industry including Integra, Crestron, Control 4, Integra, Monitor Audio and Focal to name a few.
